Interaction Design & Strategy
Creating websites, intranets or/and other digital interfaces requires a thorough understanding of the behaviour of its users. At DNA we believe that by talking to your users and stakeholders a much richer insight is achieved, which guides our decision making around how your website or intranet should be structured and delivered. We have delivered successful solutions for everything from Portals to touch screens using our interaction design methodology.
Interaction Design is a process whereby we turn user goals and business objectives into products that really work, rather than simply look good. By working closely our visual designers, developers and content experts build websites that have multiple pathways to information, products and actions for users. This approach allows us to provide users with extremely effective tools which measure the highest levels of usability. DNA is leading the way in Interaction Design in New Zealand; we have industry experts working for us to make that possible, including Charlene Turei and Hayden Vink.
Development
We build robust websites using the latest technology - most of which are compliant with e-Gov HTML standards, using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) in a best practice way for seamless pixel perfect cross browser support. At DNA we have a team of highly skilled developers who turn our solutions and design into smart HTML templates. DNA also specialises in building state-of-the-art interactive interfaces and games, using Flash, Flex and ActionScript. Our Flash developers are capable of turning the crafted visual designs into engaging interactive experiences for both online and in store/touch screen.
Our development services extend to providing integration services on well known Content Management Systems. We have considerable experience in providing services for open source systems, such as Drupal, Plone, Wordpress and Expression Engine. We can also provide design and integration support for enterprise level systems, such as WebSphere (portal technology) and Oracle UCM.
